Commitment to Impact

Uulala, Humanity 2.0 and The Laudato Si’ Challenge  have partnered to build a new model of borderless financial security and access. The objective is to positively and sustainably impact the lives of 10 million migrants and refugees by 2020.

Mission Driven

Uulala is a mission-driven organization that is focused on facilitating and accelerating the financial inclusion of the underbanked and unbanked population across the Americas.

Through a blockchain-based platform that provides the financial tools communities need to build credit, send money, participate in ecommerce, and elevate out of a cash-only environment, Uulala plans to create a large scale social impact on the Latin culture by restoring their trust in financial services.

The Uulala platform not only provides ways for individuals to participate in secure financial transactions, build credit and offer remittance services but also gain access to entertainment and shopping services that were once out of reach because of their banking status.

40% Of Immigrants Who Migrate To A New Country, Become Business Owners.

In fact, 40% of Fortune 500 companies were founded by immigrants or the children of immigrants. Uulala aims to empower immigrants by removing the barriers they face when joining the formal economy after arriving in a new country and by helping them keep their finances secure throughout their journey.

Expanding their possibilities and helping them elevate their communities.

Humanity 2.0

Humanity 2.0 is a human progress accelerator that identifies impediments to human progress and works across sectors to remove them by sourcing and scaling bold and innovative solutions. Our vision is defined by five beliefs:

  1. We are one species, with a collective responsibility for shaping our future.
  2. Challenges to humanity must be met by focused and coordinated action.
  3. No human being has more, or less, intrinsic value than any other.
  4. Every human being should have the opportunity to realize their full potential.
  5. Common resources should be used to further the common good before private interests.
